Under Bridges

Narrow verge widths, shallow ground, service contention are all problems at underbridges. At 200mm deep Smartraft^® is often the ideal solution at these locations.

Smartraft^® easily transitions to traditional foundation methods at either end of the structure making short lengths of Smartraft^® under structures a very viable option.

Over Bridges

Over bridges are always a particular problem for installation of VRS systems. The shallow bridge decks, waterproofing layers and structural concrete with rebar all prevent installation of driven posts and traditional concrete foundations.

Surface mounted posts with M20 female cradle sets or percussion drilling potentially compromising structural re-enforcement bars has been the only option available for many years.
